Click the Keyrails icon in your top Mac menu bar 2. Click Settings 3. Click on “Record” and then enter your desired keyboard hotkey shortcut to enable Keyrails. See below notes on creating a hotkey shortcut. Shortcut Recommendations: * My preferred shortcut is command (⌘). I recommend this because if the keyframe handle moves slightly up or down, you can quickly undo the drag by pressing command (⌘) + z and then use command (⌘) + x again to redo it. * You can also use a shortcut like option (⌥) + x. Quitting Keyrails * If you’d like to quit Keyrails for any reason, simply click the icon in the top menu bar and select ‘Quit Keyrails’ Other Recommendations * I would highly recommend making Keyrails an app that opens at login. You can do this by going to settings, searching for “Login Items & Extensions” and then under “Open at Login” you can click the “+” icon to add Keyrails as an app that will automatically open every time you log in to your Mac. To set your hotkey shortcut... 1. You need to set a hotkey shortcut that doesn’t interfere with Windows or Adobe Premiere operations. For example, you can use the **‘ctrl’** key or a combination of keys like **‘ctrl + alt + z’** You can also use numpad keys if you’d like. Quitting Keyrails * If you’d like to quit Keyrails for any reason, simply click the ‘x’ icon or ‘Done’ Other Recommendations * I would highly recommend making Keyrails a startup app, so that it automatically opens at login. It might be located somewhere else is you changed the install location when setting it up.
